The party's Secretary for Publicity and  Ideology, Mr Nape Nnauye, said here that of late there have been  complaints from some of its prominent and respected members, adding it  was set to vigorously and aggressively respond to them.
Mr Nnauye was speaking shortly after the  arrival of its presidential candidate, Dr John Magufuli, who jetted  here yesterday on his way to his home region Geita.
According to Mr Nnauye, the whole  nomination process in which CCM picked its candidate was peaceful, save  for some minor reported setbacks but overall the party was as united as  ever. "The nomination process has peacefully ended and we are here as  one.
However, there are some of us who are  not happy and are loudly airing their reservations over the whole  process. We ask them to stop complaining otherwise we will soon respond  back," he said.
Mr Nnauye did not name those he said  were complaining of the Dodoma outcome, but it is widely known he was  targeting veteran CCM member, Mr Kingunge Ngombale Mwiru, who has been  repeatedly quoted by the media expressing his dissatisfaction with the  process.
Speaking after greeting the public, Dr  Magufuli thanked Tanzanians for their prayers and support that helped  him win the race within his party, saying he was set to serve them all.
He said if elected come October, this  year, he would make a good president of all and strive hard to serve all  political parties, religions and tribes.
Dr Magufuli asked for Mwanza residents to embrace the Union, promising he will make sure Tanzania remains one and stronger.
He hinted that CCM will come out with a  good election manifesto which will address all important areas of the  economy and development.
"We have prepared an election manifesto  which is combining a lot of commitments that I will vigorously implement  and supervise and one of the area is about the welfare of petty  traders," he said, amid applaud from a section of small-scale  businessmen who welcomed him at the airport.
Dr Magufuli thanked his fellow  contestants in the presidential race within the party calling for all to  bury their differences and remain with one team.
The presidential candidate reminded the  crucial mission his party was looking forward to accomplish, saying  bringing about true development was the obligation of all Tanzanians  from all walks of life and political affiliations.
Asking for Tanzanians to keep on praying  for him, he appealed for all to believe the powers of God for enabling  his party to pick him among 42 other contestants.
